To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the launch of the Land Rover mark as we know it on 30th April 1948 at the Amsterdam car show. We are holding a huge weekend event to mark this historic date in automotive history.
The event will take place at the show ground in Market Harborough and have camoing availble for 400 vehicles on the Saturday evening with the main show taking place on the Sunday with over 100 trade stalls and vendors selling a vast eray of Land Rover items, memrobilia and much much more.
There will be a display of the Land Rover vehicles through the years from a Series 1 through to the latest the latests models in production. We will have show and shine sections for those concorse vehiclse to take their pride of place in the main show arena. There will be all usual things you would expect to find at a Land Rover show, but ours has a difference.
We will be attempting to break the current Guinness World Record for the largest group of moving Land Rovers which is currently set at 640 vehicles. Our attempt is going to see us try and break this on the day with 800 in our group. You can be a part of this and really make your Land Rover special. All vehicles that take part in the offical record attempt will receive a unique plaquee to mark this historic event.
