If Actuator preload is not correct, you may find there is wastegate leakage causing lazy spool.
Actuator should not start to list until 1.25 bar of pressure is applied, this is correct calibration for STANDARD boost pressure.
If possible, can you remove intake pipe and take picture?

Good question.
It's a bit problematik to see the actuator as well. Because its mounted in an impossible place beneath the turbo.
I see on the pressure gauge that pressure moved to 0,5 bar under 2400 U/min and from 2400 U/min the pressure speed up up to 1,5 bar or more pressure..

Hello
Thank you for your reply.
And have you way to measure pressure when actuator arm starts to move? This should be no less than 18psi

Hello,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have measured the old cartridge. On both turbine wheels.
The dimensions of the small wheel: A = 35mm B=46,2 mm C (roundabout) 8,7mm D= not measurable, because the cartridge is not disassembled.
The dimensions of the large turbine wheel: A=38,2mm B=54mm C (roundabout): 5,3mm D=not measurable, as the wheel is still installed.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Hallo,
danke für die schnelle Antwort.
Ich habe die alte Cartridge gemessen. An beiden Turbinenrädern.
Cheers

Hello
Thank you for your email.
Do you have the OLD CHRA?
Can you measure the wheels as per the drawing attached and tell me Measurement A and B for compressor and Turbine wheel?
Thanks Warning: Turbo Rebuild Limited cannot confirm fitment unless the Turbocharger part number of the actual unit concerned is supplied. Registration numbers, engine codes or make and model details - although helpful - cannot confirm correct fitment and are done so at buyer’s risk.

some time ago I bought an enhanced turbo cartridge from you for my 1998 Defender 300 TDI.
The turbo basically works very well and is also more powerful than the original Garret turbo.
However, I have a massive problem with the enhanced turbo.
The turbo only kicks in at 2400 rpm. Before that, almost no boost pressure is measurable.
So unfortunately the turbo lag is EXACTLY in the rev range where I shift gears.
On hills, this means that shifting up from third to fourth gear is practically impossible, even if I rev the engine to a heavy 3200 rpm before shifting,
the turbo lag ensures that the turbo does not kick in in fourth gear and I am forced to shift down again.
Since the turbo cartridge has no adjustable turbine blades, it seems that the additional boost pressure requires a higher exhaust pressure
and the turbo does not kick in until 2400 rpm instead of 15oo rpm.
In trailer operation or/and in the mountains this makes the vehicle almost undriveable.
Have I done something wrong?
The acutator is open to the maximum, the wastegate only closes at 1.7 bar (I have installed the boost pressure indicator and exhaust gas temperature sensor).
A boost ring and a boost pin are installed. The injection quantity was increased accordingly. The car drove really well before.
Unfortunately, this is no longer the case since the supercharger was replaced.
All pressure lines are tight. No oil problem either. A larger Ally intercooler is installed.
What should I do? What CAN be done?
I would really appreciate an answer. I am not getting anywhere.
Many thanks in advance!

Hallo,
Was soll ich tun? Was KANN man tun?
